Christmas Eco Fair
Last Sunday I had a stand at the Christmas Eco Fair held at the Loughborough market.
It was a sunny autumn day with a stiff, chilly breeze as the stands were being set up. There was a little confusion with one stallholder but quickly remedied, and the fair opened on time.
At first, around 10:00 am, people started strolling around to view what was on offer at the stands. Some folk went past without stopping or gave a cursory glance and then moved on. Others stood or stayed a little longer, not buying. Some showed genuine interest and stopped to chat. A few pleasant conversations followed, with some asking more about the products and a sale concluded.
Both parties were happy with the outcome.
As the day progressed, the wind made things colder despite the sun being out. Finished at around 3:30pm, packed up and left the area thinking about the day’s outcome, what went well and what I could improve next time.
